Who doesn’t have a couple of these cheap (Ikea) picture frames lying around in the house? They are so affordable and easy to use for many DIY projects! Just put a nice color of paint on there and fill it with art!
But, wait.. art? Is it really that easy to make my own art? Well, with this easy tutorial it definitely is!
DIY Supplies:
Watercolor Paper | Watercolor Paint | Paintbrush | Pencil | Eraser | Hobby Knife | Free Art Template
1. Download the Free Art Template. Print or trace the template on regular paper and cut the drawing out with a knife.
2. Cut the watercolor paper in the size of your picture frame. Place the printed or traced paper on top of the watercolor paper.
3. Mix your watercolor paint with a little bit of water and paint the shape onto the watercolor paper. Don’t be afraid to use more than one color!
Let the paint dry and place your new art in the picture frames!
All done!
