I just love restyling things! Every time that I see a plain surface, shirt, or right now even a wallet it makes me want to restyle it!
And it is the perfect excuse for experimenting with new techniques!
Today I want to show how to restyle your wallet with a few supplies you will probably already have laying around and fabric paint.
Here’s how:
DIY Supplies:
Painters Tape | Knife | Fabric Paint | Brush | Wallet (from Century21)
1. Apply the tape to the wallet
2. Write your name in the middle piece of painters tape
3. Cut the name out of the painters tape (be very careful not to cut into your wallet! Just apply little pressure on the knife)
4. Start applying the paint. It took me about 5(!) layers. So you will have to be patient here. The paint does dry very quickly, so just wait about 15-25 minutes between each layer.
Let the last layer dry overnight before removing the tape.
All done!
Have a lovely tuesday everyone!
