Who says that you should only wear jewelry on your body? I say: decorate your hair to give it an extra fancy look!
I always love to experiment with old items and give them a new purpose. And buttons just seem to be my favorite source for some fine DIY inspiration! I already made these button rings two years ago, and I felt it was time to give more buttons a new life!
I am also one of those people that tend to linger in the holiday spirit, so long after everybody replaced their party dresses with warm cozy sweaters, I still choose the sparkly, overdressed outfits that are certainly not suitable for the horrible Dutch winter weather. And why not?!
Please join me and treat yourself to a fancy hair accessory, or two or three.. And keep dressing up, because you deserve it!
Supplies
Necklace Chain | Jump Rings | Bobby Pins | Buttons | Pliers
1. Cut the necklace chain in your desired length with the pliers.
2. Repeat step 1. You can choose to vary the lengths or make them all the size.
3. Attach a button to one end of the chain, using a jump ring. Close the ring with your pliers.
4. Use a jump ring to attack the bobby pin to the chain.
All done!

What a great idea – something I’ve never thought of, but it looks fab!
